We must be getting old. Spent a big part of our meeting last night reminiscing and looking at old photos of the garden, including this one of the OT coverage of our grand opening
Our Garden
The Sensory garden evolved from a community building event asking people to choose something which they felt would develop greater community capacity and social inclusion for people with disabilities. Little did the people at the consultation realise the hurdles ahead to achieve a garden which is accessible to all. The commitment of those original volunteers has since come to life and now we have a vibrant garden enjoyed by visitors and locals. A peaceful spot with beautiful views where you can sit and watch the boats go by.
